MonthlyClub Competition

A photography competition is held at monthly meetings of the Victoria Photography Club.
Monthly competition entries are digital except for a print competition held each June.  Members may enter monthly in 4 categories: (1) Nature, (2) Open (3) Rotating and (4) Assignment. The Rotating category is a different subject each month taken from the categories used for the Annual Contest. The Assignment category is a one-word descriptor of the subject for the month. Members use their imagination to interpret the subject with a photograph.

Annual Contest

One of the ways we promote photography in the Victoria, Texas area is to encourage everyone to participate in the area photography contests.  By participating in these contests, beginning photographers and seasoned photographers alike will develop their portfolios, increase their understanding of photography, and network with others who have a passion for photography.

In addition to its monthly competitions, the Victoria Photography Club sponsors an area-wide photography contest in August of each year.

We are also pleased to support the photography contests sponsored by
