We are simply a group of great people who love photography and wish to share our
love of photography with others. We come from different backgrounds and have different
photographic interests. Some of us are amateurs; others are seasoned professionals.
Some of us are young and some of us are not so young. Some of us have a photographic
equipment inventory that might rival some of the national suppliers; others are satisfied
with a point-
Our primary purpose is to promote photography in Victoria, Texas and the surrounding area. Each month the Club hosts a member’s competition. In addition, we plan educational programs featuring guest speakers, or provide instructional programs relating to either a technical or artistic aspect of photography.
We organize several outings (photographic field trips and/or social gatherings) each
year. The purpose, of course, is to take pictures. This is a great time for beginners
to pair up with experienced photographers to learn more about their camera and how
to take better pictures.
